About the cheese

I'll try to be as positive as I can in this post. After all it's International Children's Day.

I lost my old cheese.. (cheese) is supposed to be a metaphor for anything that you want in your life or something like that.
I was working in one place for 3 months and I actually loved it. But one day my HOD schedule Job chat with me and he just inform me they don't need me. He said some very weird things and among them he suggested that I should read one book to help me cope with the change in my life. The name of the book is "Who moved my cheese?".
Hmm I really didn't know what to think at that moment and how to process all the words my ears kept hearing. But long story short - I found this book online, downloaded and read. To be honest this book is nothing new - all those truths about life are facts and you really don't need a book to understand change.
It's awesome if this book helped someone. For me it was reminder to always let go of the things that are not up-to-date with your inner feelings. I lost the job that I really wanted to do and I can't imagine I was that bad at it. Hahaha. But now I'm in much better place where I am trusted with important responsibilities. I guess my new "cheese" is better than my old "cheese".

If you think you need help to deal with the changes in your life, read this book. Hopefully it will help you. But again, it's nothing new as information - just the universal truths.

Back...

It's been quite a while since I came back in Bulgaria to wait for my 90 days exile to be over. Honestly, that's how it feels like after the visa rules in UAE were changed - an exile. Somehow I was feeling UAE like my place to be.
But this summer - well, actually since February - I had an exciting and enriching experience being in my home country. Working really expands one's life and horizons. I don't regret staying here. I shouldn't regret anything that makes me grow up as a person and gives me precious experience.
I consider myself lucky to have the life I'm having. Sure, nobody's life is perfect, but my life is pretty close to that. For the very simple reason that I'm surrounded by people who love and care about me. This people - family and friends - will never let me fall down. They simply rise me up. Alhamdulillah for that!
The truth is one doesn't need all the money in the world, all the fame and fortune. It's enough to have your own spot in life being with your loved ones.
Many things happened these past months, good and not-so-good. ( I believe saying "bad" is kinda pointless and negative. Let's try to be positive.) Everything that I went through made me stronger and little more cynical.
I had amazing conversation with my dad. Hearing his words almost made me cry. But he was right about everything. Whatever I do is always "too much". Seems I'm not balanced person lol, I'm always in the extreme. Especially when it comes to loving. "Same like your mother."- that's what he said.
Is it scary to realize that you look like your parents? Understanding that one day you'll become them? I accepted that, because there is no other way.
But I want to make my parents proud. To make them the proudest parents in the world. And inshallah one day I'll do it!
Being here now gives me the chance to rethink my life. I don't make plans for the future, I stopped doing that long time ago. I just needed to find my passion for life, get my drive back. Something was missing, I was missing something. I didn't realize though, that fixing myself will cost me my man. It feels like I lost him. I can't shake the feeling that he doesn't love me, the real me. I feel he loves some idea of me, his own perception. And that scares me. I love him too much...
I'm happy I'm getting back on the track of life, I just hope I won't be walking alone.

Welcome to my story

I feel grown up now. At least more grown up than yesterday and the day before. I like keeping journals and diaries so I can always write down my thoughts at the current moment. But that's kinda messy - I have written in so many places and there's no order. This blog will be my companion from now on.
I don't have any idea what life has to offer and I can't be sure if I'm prepared, but I'll deal with any given situation the best way possible.

I got lost in the UAE. And that's the country I feel to be my home right now. Being away makes me sad in some weird and deep way. Many things happened to me while living in Dubai. Honestly I can't imagine my life going in another direction. For sure I'm not the best person and I've made many mistakes on my way, but I'm really happy and satisfied being who and what I am today.

I used (I) so many times for such a short blog entry, but bare with me please. This is my story and the only way to be told is through my eyes and perspective.

Thank you to whoever is reading this. I promise you won't be sorry.
